Communication cables

The telephone wires and cables are classified in two main groups: outside plant and inside plant cables.

CENTELSA’s telephone cables comply with RITEL’s (inside plant telecommunication networks) regulations.

CENTELSA’s JWP telephone wires are used as indoor parallel drop wire, from the terminal outlet to the outside box and for telephone derivations.  These cables can be installed in dry locations, indoor surfaces, inside ducts or in open installations.

Applications

CENTELSA’s outside plant telephone cables are used in aerial primary and secondary pressurized networks. These cables are for aerial installations suspended from the Messenger. They are suitable for transmitting voice and data in frequencies up to 6.3 MHz, achieving optimal use of the bandwidth given by this category of copper cables. These cables are suitable for broadband transmission technologies such as ADSL (Asynchronous Digital Subscriber Line) and others.

Applications

CENTELSA’s outside plant telephone cables are used in underground primary and secondary trunk networks.  These cables are special for moist locations due to the elastomeric filling compound which prevents water from entering the cable core.  These cables are installed in ducts or channelings or directly buried in places without vehicle or heavy machinery traffic.  They are suitable for transmitting voice and data in frequencies up to 6,3 MHz, achieving optimal use of the bandwidth given by this category of copper cables. These cables are suitable for broadband transmission technologies such as ADSL (Asynchronous Digital Subscriber Line) and others.

CENTELSA’s JWT telephone wires are used in telephone derivations and in wiring of radio and TV equipment. The JWT PVC-NY are used as jumper wires in minidistributors, distributors and telephone equipment.  The Nylon jacket provides abrasion resistance.  These cables are also suitable for wiring radio and TV equipment.  They can be welded without removing the isulation, they are also adventageous for their small diameter, hardness and their low friction provided by the Nylon insulation.  These cables can be installed in dry locatios, ducts or in open installations.

Applications

CENTELSA’s RG Coaxial cables are used in transmission of video signals, CATV, MATV, closed circuits, radiofrequency signals, broadband transmission systems, etc.  In general they are used where transmission of electrical signals needs low attenuation and protection against electromagnetic interference.
